Dell Technologies has honoured leading partners across Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), following a year of growth through the channel.
Unveiled during Global Partner Summit in Las Vegas, the awards span value-added resellers, managed service providers and system integrators, in addition to solution specialists and distributors.
In recognising channel excellence during the past 12 months, partners were awarded on the basis of revenue growth within the Dell Technologies portfolio, alongside innovation and customer success.
“APJ channel partners attending our annual Global Partner Summit, as part of Dell Technologies World this week, have had the opportunity to hear all our exciting news firsthand and take part in invaluable partner-specific learning opportunities,” said Shant Soghomonian, general manager of channel sales A/NZ at Dell EMC.
“A big focus of the event was the evolution of the Dell EMC Partner program to the Dell Technologies Partner Program. Going forward, partners will have access to a more holistic solutions portfolio allowing them to accelerate their growth opportunities.
“We look forward to working with all our partners back in Australia and New Zealand to build on the new skills, knowledge and connections that were made this week.”
In Australia, Ethan Group took home Special Contribution honours, while Dicker Data was recognised as the leading distributor in the channel, in addition to Ingram Micro APJ in the Global Distributor category.
“We are so humbled and very honoured to be recognised on a global stage by Dell EMC for the value that we are providing to our partner community,” said Vlad Mitnovetski, chief operating officer at Dicker Data, speaking on the sidelines of Dell Technologies World. “We are very grateful to the partnership and trust shown by the channel.”
Furthermore, Data#3 took home a Dell EMC President’s Circle Award in APJ, recognising partners that delivered “outstanding results” with the vendor during the last financial year.
“We have a closely aligned strategy with Dell Technologies, which allows us to transform our customer’s businesses through the use of cutting edge technology,” said Laurence Baynham, CEO and managing director of Data#3. “This alignment is a great platform for growth and innovation in this era of digital.”
The award marks the second year in a row that Data#3 has achieved this special designation, with the Brisbane-based business the only APJ partner to be recognised.
“Data#3 and Dell EMC have been long-standing partners working together to help understand and solve customers’ business problems through innovative technology solutions,” Soghomonian added.
“The President’s Circle recognises our top-performing partners globally and it’s an honour to see Data#3 take home this well-deserved accolade at Dell Technologies World. Together, we thank the Data#3 team for a fantastic year and look forward to building on these successes in the future.”
Meanwhile in Singapore, Fujitsu and Genesis Networks were awarded Data Centre and Special Contribution awards respectively, alongside recognition for PT Mitra Integrasi Informatika of Indonesia in the Exceptional category.
Across the region, AMTI of the Philippines achieved a Special Contribution in South Asia award, while FPT Information System Corporation of Vietnam was acknowledged for Growth and VST ECS of Thailand for Marketing Excellence.
