Networking solutions vendor Extreme Networks has announced Extreme Elements, which allows for different existing products be blended into a customised solution for enterprise customers.

"More Australian and New Zealand business IT leaders and CIOs are looking to transform their operations and improve user experience via increased automation," Extreme Networks channel manager A/NZ Julian Critchlow told ARN.

"With the introduction of Extreme Elements, our partners will be more closely aligned to meet this demand as well as adding more value in driving their customers' business outcomes."

The products include Extreme Management Centre, a software that centralises management and end-to-end visibility of the network, network orchestrator Workflow Composer, a network and application analytics software, ExtremeAnalytics and Defender for IoT, and endpoint security solution empowers enterprises to securely deploy unsecured IoT devices, while isolating them from other services.

The vendor launched its machine learning and artificial intelligence application ExtremeAI Security, which delivers visibility and detection of malicious traffic, real-time monitoring of IoT devices for behavioural anomalies and automated remediation.

"Extreme Elements is the culmination of building block technologies to assist our partners and customers with a simple, scalable approach to deliver an autonomous network," Critchlow said.

"The modularity of Extreme Elements allows our partners to tailor this automation journey to the pace of the customer, their specific vertical industry and unique business requirements."

"The integration of Extreme Elements with adjacent technologies and ecosystems allows our partners to leverage their own wider portfolio to add customisable and bespoke solution offerings to their customers," Critchlow explained.

In order to help partners take the solutions to market, Extreme Networks has aligned its partner program around "technical excellence" and expanded its online training platform ExtremeDojo to partners and customers.

ExtremeDojo offers self-paced, free video based learning with courses from authorised training partners. It offers eight certifications aligned to the Extreme Elements building blocks.

"We are also supporting our Australian and New Zealand partners with Extreme professional services, where our local technical experts can augment and assist our partners with any aspect of our Extreme Elements solutions," Critchlow added.
