Victoria-headquartered distributor Alloys has signed an agreement to sell Actiontec’s ScreenBeam portfolio in Australia.
The deal will see Alloys sell Actiontec's wireless display solution to its partners, with Australian enterprise and education markets being the primary targets.
Alloys will distribute from a number of warehouses across Australia, while providing showrooms in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane.
The distributor will also offer in-house training, technical, sales and marketing support for small-and-medium-sized resellers.

Headquartered in the US, Actiontec’s ScreenBeam is Microsoft’s co-engineering partner for wireless display, having worked with the vendor to develop wireless display capabilities in Windows 10 and 8.1.
The product series provides app-free wireless screen-sharing experience on all major operating system platforms covering meeting spaces or classrooms.
In addition to Alloys, Actiontec also works with the distributor Ingram Micro in Australia.

The deal with Actiontec comes six months after Alloys signed an agreement with American unified communications (UC) vendor Grandstream.
