Zac Brandt (Snowflake)
Cloud data warehouse start-up Snowflake has appointed Zac Brandt as regional director for Australia.
Brandt joins the company in Sydney from its California base, where he was a sales director for three years.
Prior to joining Snowflake, Brandt had been the director of sales at Medallia, and has held roles at HP, Infoblox and EMC.
“Snowflake’s customer-focused culture, coupled with market-leading solutions and strong partner team on the ground in Australia, puts the company in a great position to continue to thrive,” he said.

According to Snowflake, Brandt will be responsible for bringing best practice in cloud data warehousing to Australian public and private sector enterprises.
Snowflake currently employs 27 people in Australia, who are based across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. It currently works with local channel partners including the likes of Servian, Analytics8, Altis Consulting and InterWorks.
According to Peter O’Connor, Snowflake’s vice president of Asia Pacific and Japan, the company recruited more than 25 new partners in the last year.
“We sought to complement our existing skill set here in Australia with a global executive with a successful track record of sales success and we believe Zac will be an excellent addition to the Australian team,” he added. “We’re looking forward to the positive impact which Zac’s skills and experience will have on furthering customer success and business momentum.”
