Identity management vendor ForgeRock has appointed James Ross as the managing director for Australia and New Zealand.
The appointment comes three months after John Donovan's departure to join Sophos as the A/NZ managing director.
Based in Sydney, Ross will be in charge of growing ForgeRock’s presence across the region and will focus on revenue growth and business development. In order to achieve these results, Ross will work with delivery partners and the channel to accelerate growth and deliver successful outcomes.
Ross brings ForgeRock more than 20 years of experience in enterprise IT and cyber security.
He was most recently the A/NZ north sales lead at Imperva and was responsible for driving customer acquisition strategies and cultivating ongoing relationships within Imperva’s customer network.
Prior to joining Imperva, Ross spent two years at CA Technologies as the A/NZ country manager for cyber security. Before that, Ross was the general manager of NSW at CDM.
"There’s a growing trend of global enterprises looking to modernise their identity and access management platforms to deliver new innovative solutions to deepen customer relationships and win new business," Ross said.
He added the vendor offers a "winning" combination of great solutions, a robust channel ecosystem and a trusted reputation for customer success.
