Nutanix has appointed Dicker Data as a distributor for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).
The partnership, effective of 1 August, will give Dicker Data access to Nutanix's enterprise-grade solutions.
According to David Dicker, the distributor's chairman and CEO, an increase in demand for hybrid cloud solutions has been taking place within Dicker's partners.
"As a result, we’ve already delivered a number of Nutanix hyper-converged solutions on Intel Datacentre Block hardware," Dicker said.
"We view their products as a strategic growth opportunity for us and as demand is continually increasing for hyper-converged solutions, the time is now right for us to establish a direct relationship with Nutanix and to invest in scaling the partnership.”
Meanwhile, a Nutanix spokesperson told ARN that Dicker Data further expands its distribution reach for customers in Australia, but did not specify which distributors currently works with here.
"We will be providing more information in due course once the enablement of resources and systems readiness for our resellers to transact on Nutanix with Dicker Data has been completed.”
