Enterprise software provider SAP Australia and New Zealand has acknowledged the award-winning efforts of partners at the first SAP Best Run Awards.
The awards were described by the firm as recognising and celebrating successful businesses that utilise SAP products in the Australia and New Zealand region.
The partners that won excellence awards for their work with clients were DXC Oxygen, Zag, Presence of IT and Deloitte.
DXC Oxygen, along with client TasNetworks won the Best Run SAP Intelligent ERP Enterprise award for the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, which simplified business processes, reduced operating costs and allowed for the decommissioning of 60 legacy applications as well as reducing delays and operation and maintenance costs.
Zag won two awards; the Best Run SAP CRM and Customer Experience award with Auckland Council and Best Run SAP Digital Supply Chain with Ballance Agri-Nutrients.
Their work with Auckland Council created an omni-channel, customer-centric platform that utilised SAP HANA to improve efficiency and processing capacity for resource and building consent applications for over 1.5 million residents, with 50 per cent of applications submitted online.
Meanwhile, their work with Ballance Agri-Nutrients established a customer-centric ecommerce solution with SAP HANA that resulted in speeding up order entries by 70 per cent and sales reporting by 600 per cent.
Presence of IT, along with client Fonterra, won the Best Run SAP Human Resources and People Management award for the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors to increase HR efficiency, which freed up over 59 staff hours per month through automation and delivered over 25,000 hours of education.
Deloitte, along with client RPC Technologies, won the Best Run SAP Data and Analytics award for the combination of five separate systems into one with Sap S/4HANA Cloud and SAP Analytics Cloud, which cut down end of month billing by 80 percent and cut down the time to process supply chain transactions by half.
Deloitte New Zealand was also recognised for its work with Kāpura in the Fast Growth Business category.
