Arq Group's virtual concierge
Publicly-listed Arq Group has launched Virtual Concierge, a digital receptionist which utilises machine learning to greet users at receptions.
Users are able to talk to the digital receptionist to notify staff of their arrival, order coffee and complete on-site safety inductions.
The receptionist itself can be designed to match the tone, style and image of the business and machine learning enables the concierge to remembering specific requests to improve the level of interaction for the next user.
Daniel Johnson, sales director of the southern region at Arq Group, said being able to create multiple touch-points throughout a business that look and feel the same is a difficult task.
“Creating an office space without a reception, that is still welcoming and representative of the organisation, creates a holistic experience that many businesses are still struggling to tap-into,” Johnson said.
He also claimed businesses using this technology would be able to free up resources within a business that could be directed elsewhere.
“It’s not about replacing staff, it’s about freeing them up to add value to other parts of the business,” Johnson said.
To prove the usefulness of the technology, Johnson added that Arq Group is using Virtual Concierge in its Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane offices.
“We know the importance of a positive brand experience and it made total sense for us to deploy it and see the next-gen in customer experience come to life across our own offices,” Johnson said.
