Kaseya’s first annual Connect IT APAC conference was held in Sydney recently, honouring the most outstanding achievements from within its partner community in the past year.
Productiv were the recipients of the 2019 MSP Automation Award; C3 Group scored the Community Award; CustomTec took home the 2019 MSP Efficiency Award while Dorks Delivered won Fastest Growing MSP of the Year.
The coveted MSP of the Year award was handed to Virtual IT, which was selected based on high customer satisfaction scores and customer retention; the use of automation to be more efficient; managing fast growth; high profits; commitment to tech development and high employee retention rates.
“Year after year, our community of MSP partners continues to blow us away with their innovation and dedication to providing the best services to their customers. It’s an honour to recognise their commitment and advanced use of the Kaseya IT Complete platform, and showcase their continued performance and success,” Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola said.
In an interview with ARN, Voccola stated the vendor had completed a US$500 million investment round and will be committing to a US$20 million increase into its Asia Pacific footprint.
Specifically to Australia, Voccola said it will be adding about 20 staff to its team to boost local marketing and partner support.
“We have a pretty significant presence in Asia, and we do upwards of US$75 - US$80 million in turnover per year, and we expect that to be the fastest growing part of the market,” he said. “We’re probably going to triple that invest in the next several years in Asia.
In Auckland, New Zealand, Voccola pointed out that is has a pretty sizeable office, whereby it will be substantially investing in R&D, sales, support, marketing and business development.
Voccola said the increased reliance and adoption of technology among small to medium sized businesses, was driving the growth.
“We’re riding the right wave, the overall growth of Asia, is outpacing the rest of the world,” he said. “Our IT Complete platform really addresses the core challenge that MSPs and VARs face, in providing one view and one platform that addresses all of the security and IT infrastructure management requirements that these organisations need.”
