Swiss company SoftwareOne has acquired Melbourne-based SAP platform specialist, BNW Consulting for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition will strengthen and extend SoftwareOne’s SAP technology services capabilities focused on public cloud migrations, S/4 HANA transformation and support.

Under the deal, SoftwareOne will bring across more than 30 SAP technology specialists from BNW including founder and managing director, Warwick Chai; as well as co-owner and COO Stefan Baumann.

Both Chai and Baumann will join SoftwareOne’s SAP global practice director, Daniel Da Vinci, in leadership roles.

“Our new colleagues will service their customers in APAC and the US, and beyond, in close conjunction with the established Manila SAP Centre of Excellence,” SoftwareOne CEO, Dieter Schlosser, said.

BNW which was founded in 1996, supports customers in Australia, across Asia Pacific, Europe and the US, offering specialised services in the SAP platform transformation and migration from on-premises to public cloud hyperscale platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and Ali Cloud.

In February, SoftwareOne bought Singapore-based cloud service provider, RightCloud with its founders Prashant Gyan, Mohit Sharma, Jonathan Limbo and Iannis Hanen, leading the combined cloud services business in APAC.
