Fujitsu to stage April Fools reshuffle

Fujitsu to stage April Fools reshuffle

There are a few changes to the line-up of heavy hitters at Fujitsu Australia following announcements made yesterday by CEO Philip Kerrigan. The appointments are effective from April 1.

The deckchair shuffling sees Peter Noble appointed to the position of executive general manager of Fujitsu Solutions, a systems integration group which was formerly known as information systems solutions. Ebusiness, CRM, enterprise applications and enterprise servers will be its major focus.

Fujitsu Services -- which focuses on maintenance and services in the data centre, network, desktop, asset and call centre services -- will continue to be run by Peter McFarlane, who remains in his role as executive general manager.

KS Tan carries on as executive general manager of Southmark Solutions, which handles the sale and delivery of desktop systems integration solutions.

John Kranenburg (executive director, telecommunications and technology) and Bill Beale (managing director, Fujitsu New Zealand) remain in their current roles. Other members of the management team include Terence Robertson (business operations manager), Kenji Hirose (executive director, finance and administration) and Dennis Metcalf (executive general manager, human resources).
