Netgear focuses on the channel with company realignment

Appointments to deliver smarter IT solutions to local SMBs

Global networking vendor, Netgear, has announced two new managerial appointments within the company’s channel department.

Tim Strachan has been appointed channel account manager A/NZ.

He will specialise in Netgear’s ProSecure range by developing consultation and education programs for all A/NZ channel partners and enabling company resellers to build IT security solutions for their customers.

John Condo is channel account manager - Western and South Australia. He has 17 years experience in the IT industry.

Condo will be responsible for delivering customised solutions to businesses that suggest resolutions to their current IT needs, focusing on the progress of the company and ensuring they are equipped for future growth by utilising existing relationships with channel partners.

“What many small businesses don’t understand is that big IT solutions are not always the right choice for their business,” he said.

With a collective experience of more than 32 years working with the channel, Strachan and Condo will work towards relieving pressures and challenges faced by channel partners across A/NZ.

They will both report to Netgear A/NZ managing director, Ryan Parker, and work alongside company account managers.
