Dicker Data commercial director resigns

Dicker Data director, Chris Price, has resigned from the company and will be replaced on the board immediately by Vlad Mitnovetski.

Dicker Data chairman and chief executive, David Dicker, said Mitnovetski would also assume the role of sales director after the resignation of Price as commercial director.

"Chris will remain with Dicker Data for the next three months and will be working very closely with Vlad to ensure a smooth integration and transition of his role," he said.

"With this new arrangement I expect us to move forward stronger than ever."

Mitnovetski joined the company in the 2010 as category manager.

Since then he has been responsible for the establishment and growth of key volume vendors and was instrumental in the introduction of new vendors to Dicker Data's portfolio, Dicker said.

"Vlad started his career at Tech Pacific and then Ingram Micro where he worked in various roles before progressing to business unit manager roles in enterprise and personal systems working closely with many leading vendors," he said.

Vlad holds a bachelor of business degree from the University of Technology and a masters degree in advance marketing and management from the University of NSW.

Price was with Dicker Data for more than eight years after joining in 2006 following five years at Ingram Micro as IBM Business Manager, HP Product Manager, and three years at Tech Pacific (which was eventually taken over by Ingram Micro in 2004) as IBM Product Manager, Nationals BDM, NSW BDM , Onsite CSR.
