Updated: Cloud Plus revenue grows in 2015 financial year

Partner numbers double in the past 12 months to 62

Private Cloud solutions provider, Cloud Plus, has experienced 122 per cent revenue growth during 2015 financial year.

Founded in 2010, Cloud Plus provides enterprise-grade private cloud solutions in conjunction with partners such as systems integrators, managed service providers, carriers and carriage service providers.

During the past 12 months, its partnerships have grown more than 50 per cent to 62 across Australia with companies such as Thomas Duryea Consulting, Kiandra IT, Systima, Surety IT and Rivercity Solutions.

“Our partners can deliver comprehensive, robust, secure solutions at a healthy margin without the need to make huge capital investments in network, security and systems infrastructure,” Cloud Plus CEO, Jules Rumsey, said.

Most of the company's growth has derived from product areas such as security and disaster recovery, Rumsey said.

"It's a hot button with CIOs and IT managers at the moment," he said.

The company invests in infrastructure and technology, and its Security Plus bundle includes firewall, antivirus, antispam, intrusion prevention, content filtering, SSL/IPSec VPN and reporting by default. It also has optional features such as Active Directory integration, Single Sign-On and two factor security.

In July, the Cloud Plus Managed Firewall with the Security Plus Bundle was awarded ‘Best Security Solution’ for 2015 at the Communications Alliance and CommsDay ACOMM Awards.
