ASX-listed UXC Group has finalised a number of new strategic contract wins, mostly annuity-based managed services deals totaling more than $100 million.

The new customers include Transpower New Zealand, where UXC was selected as its mid-range outsource partner for the next three years.

The contract includes supporting Oracle and Micrsoft SQL databases, Oracle application middleware and mid-range servers, all provided via a hybrid onsite-offsite model. It will also provide planning and other services to support Transpower’s growth including the design and implementation to any change to its overall environment.

Water treatment and chemical distribution company, Ixom, which was previously part of the Orica Group, selected UXC to assist in its transformation and migration away from its current Orica hosted IT environment. As part of the deal, UXC will provide application managed services and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platform to support its business.

UXC also landed a deal with an unnamed global listed beverage company to build and support its Oracle-based manufacturing and business platform on 'as-a-service' basis.

An Australian-based construction company also used UXC for a greenfield implementation of Oracle-based manufacturing and business platform on ‘as-a-service' basis.

The IT services provider also won a three-year contract with a NSW government agency to provide service desk and end user computing support services. It also comes with two, two-year extension options.

Specific details about the contract wins will be released as final customer approvals are granted.

“The winning of these contracts provides a very solid platform to support our strong FY16 – FY18 growth aspirations and increases the level of annuity business that is so important to the stability and growth targets of UXC,” UXC managing director, Cris Nicolli, said.

“The commitment by new customers to entrust UXC with larger and more complex solutions, especially in the transformational and ongoing management of their environments, is a clear reflection that UXC’s customer centricity, reputation for the delivery of outcomes and capabilities are now well understood and valued.”

UXC will release its audited results on August 20.
