Your guide to business growth in the Cloud - Microsoft APC

Microsoft APC 2015 is all about helping the channel have the right tools to do Cloud migration for customers.

Microsoft APC 2015 is filled with sessions and presentations that have been purpose built to help partners maximise their Cloud business.

Microsoft director partner business and development, Philip Goldie, said that this year, the vendor has been very deliberate in trying to work with sponsors and exhibitors that it knows will be great value for the partners as they set out on or continue their Cloud journey.

“Having sponsors and exhibitors at APC that are very complimentary to the broader Microsoft Cloud platform and Cloud strategy is vital because we think it is important for our partners to broaden the offering that they take to market,” he said.

“This is a critical time from an industry perspective in terms of the move into the Cloud.”

“We are going to have a massive focus on helping partners think about their business model and their profitability in the Cloud. There is a lot of focus on the fact that, over the next two to three years as business models change around deploying and moving customers to the Cloud, we really want to help partners make that transition in their business model.

“You will still see that great core of technology that APC has come to represent, but we will have a real focus on topics like how to productise your own IP and how do you do better digital marketing to acquire new customers.

“We have a lot of different types of sessions that focus on the underlying business model that is exciting. If you really want to think deeply about transitioning your business in the Cloud, then APC will have all of the content you need.

Windows 10 represents arguably the biggest shift Microsoft has gone through in its 40 year history and Goldie said that partners and their end-user customers will be instrumental to its success.

“Five million people around the world helped build this product, that was a massive shift for us in the way that we think about building software products and particularly massive platforms like Windows that are critical to so many people,” he said.

“This is a big point in time and to make that happen for customers, we need great partners.”

Microsoft APC 2015 ill give partners all the tools they need to leverage all of Microsoft’s offerings, not just Windows 10, and grow successful, scalable and, above all, profitable business models.
