Channel pushes AppSense to record figures

New orders grew 20 per cent in six months till December 2015

IT security company, AppSense, has posted record results for the first half of its fiscal year 2016.

The company said new orders in the six months, ended December 31, 2015, grew 20 per cent year-over-year marking a record for the company in bookings and revenue.

AppSense chief executive, Scott Arnold, attributed the growth to increased demand for endpoint security and the role partners played in driving sales, with 84 per cent of new orders coming from the channel.

The company increased its customer base by 230, and reported that the number of ‘seven-figure’ deals increased five fold during the latter half of 2015.

The security vendor reported that half a million instances of its AppSense Application Manager endpoint security solution were added during the company’s H1 fiscal 2016.
