Telstra and Interlinked take out Ingram Micro global Cloud awards

Awards were announced during the 7th annual Ingram Micro Cloud Summit in Phoenix, Arizona

Telstra has won a major Ingram Micro global Cloud award - the Odin 2016 Cloud Partner Award for Excellence in Cloud Services. And Sydney-based telecom solutions and Cloud computing provider, Interlinked, has taken out the 2016 Ingram Micro Cloud Partner marketplace award for APAC.

The awards were announced during the 7th annual Ingram Micro Cloud Summit in Phoenix, Arizona.

The annual awards spotlight Ingram Micro's top channel partners across the globe who have exhibited a high level of innovation, advocacy, performance, and sales success with Ingram Micro and the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace.

New to this year's awards program, Ingram Micro also honored Odin partners who have demonstrated excellence in proactively leveraging the Odin Service Automation platform to deliver exemplary Cloud services to their global market base.

Odin's 2016 Cloud Partner Awards recognised partners who are effectively using Odin Service Automation to grow, expand, and advance the Cloud industry by providing best-in-breed Cloud services to global markets, or transforming established business models into a new Cloud paradigm.

According to an Ingram Micro statement, the selection process for the Ingram Micro Cloud Partner Awards identified and vetted Ingram Micro channel partners who demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to driving new Cloud capabilities through the Cloud Marketplace while delivering the value-added solutions that drive business transformation and simplified success in the Cloud.

Other criteria used to determine this elite group included cloud services revenue and overall business growth in 2015, peer-to-peer leadership, and level of engagement and alignment with Ingram Micro.

Recipients of Ingram Micro's 2016 Cloud Partner Awards included:

  • Best Sales Strategy Award (US) - Aqueduct Technologies

Ingram Micro Cloud Summit is one of the largest cloud-focused events for the global IT channel, bringing together the industry's top solution providers, Cloud services providers, Cloud vendors, telcos, hosting providers, and other Cloud innovators and thought leaders.

During Cloud Summit 2016, Ingram Micro spotlighted its global cloud position with several key announcements including the debut of the Ingram Micro Cloud Ecosystem powered by the Odin Service Automation platform.

Ingram Micro acquired the Parallels Odin Service Automation platform along with associated Cloud management technologies, intellectual property and the Odin brand as part of its acquisition of certain assets of Parallels Holdings, a provider of commercial Cloud management platform technologies, connectors, billing systems and professional services, in December 2015.
