Synnex brings Galax to Aussie market

Partners with Galax to expand gaming range to resellers

Synnex Australia has inked a distribution deal with Galax to distribute the OEM-branded graphics card manufacturer’s products in Australia.

The agreement allows Synnex partners to extend their service offerings to include Galax’s Hall of Fame (HOF) series, EXOC, and GeForce graphics cards.

According to Synnex, this move reinforces its commitment to offering customers a wide range of solutions and services.

Synnex Australia product management and marketing director, Darren Tan, said the partnership with Galax strengthens Synnex’s offering in the gaming portfolio for Australia.

“This alignment offers complementary components to our system builders and will expand reach for the DIY market,” he said.

Synnex product director, Yu Chen Liao, added that the booming eSport industry has opened up opportunities to a wider audience for PC gaming.

“The graphics card market, as one of the key components of gaming PCs, has continued to show strong growth. With Galax’s appointment, Synnex will be able to expand its gaming line-up to its resellers,” Liao said.

Galax sales vice-president, Jack Lee, said the partnership with Synnex Australia would give the local market choice when it comes to gaming.

“We are very delighted to announce the partnership with Synnex Australia, the new appointment allows Galax to provide a better gaming experience and choice in Australia whenever they decide to buy an ultimate, unique GeForce graphics card,” Lee added.

Most recently, Synnex Australia also expanded its distribution agreement with Fuji Xerox Printers, gaining access to the vendor’s entire product range and signed hardware and software Internet of Things (IoT) company, Advantech, to bolster business opportunity for partners in the intelligent space.
