BackOffice Associates boosts Aussie presence

The software vendor opens its new Brisbane office

US-based information governance and data stewardship software provider, BackOffice Associates, has expanded its A/NZ presence after opening a new office in Brisbane.

The vendor already has an office in Sydney and counts Transport for NSW and Orica as two of its top customers in the local market. Target markets include mining and resources, banking and finance, healthcare, education and the public sector.

BackOffice claims that during the past seven years it has experienced high demand and growth in the A/NZ market for its enterprise data management solutions.

In a statement, BackOffice Associates APJ and Middle East CEO, Krish Datta, said that having a dedicated Brisbane office signifies its commitment to key Queensland customers and expands its engagement with global partners such as SAP and Infor, as well as local partners in the region.

“Data is becoming a critical element of large business transformation programs taking place in the region. Our increased focus on SAP S/4HANA rollouts is geared to support customers with these migrations," Datta said.

Earlier this year, BackOffice officially launched dspConduct, which is a holistic information governance product that enables companies to set, execute and enforce key data policies across heterogeneous system landscapes.
