Paessler partners with vendors to bundle network monitoring solution

Check Point, SonicWall and Watchguard are among the vendors partnering with German network monitoring software vendor Paessler to provide partners integration with the company's solutions.

This will be made possible through Paessler's recently launched Uptime Alliance, a program designed to help its partners include network monitoring functionality in their offerings to help customers prevent the downtime of critical IT systems.

Paessler already offered sensors designed specifically for turn-key performance with Cisco, HPE, NetApp and VMware.

Now Paessler AG offers its PRTG with AppSphere, Check Point, Kentix, MachineShop, NetBrain, Plixer, Savision, SonicWall, UVnetworks and Watchguard.

Paessler's solution PRTG is currently used by more than 200,000 system administrators worldwide, according to the company.

With it, system administrators can monitor the health and performance of their entire infrastructure, including networks, systems, hardware, applications and devices - all in real time.

For example, PRTG monitors Check Point telemetry in its overall view of a company’s corporate infrastructure, providing a holistic view on the security posture of the corporate network.

PRTG provides several ways to monitor SonicWall equipment including out-of-the-box sensors to keep an eye on the overall health of the firewall and the traffic on SonicWall devices.
