Nutanix channel chief Rodney Foreman exits

Bob Wallace will take on the channel duties in the interim

Nutanix global channel chief Rodney Foreman has left the vendor after spending 15 months in the role.

The vendor confirmed Foreman’s departure and thanked him for his contributions to Nutanix.

In the interim, vice president of sales strategy, Bob Wallace, will take on the channel duties until a replacement is found.

“Bob was formerly VP of channel, OEM and inside sales at Nutanix and is well positioned to continue managing our relationships with channel partners while we search for a permanent successor," a Nutanix spokesperson said.

Foreman joined Nutanix in January 2018, after leading the Informatica business partner channel ecosystem. Prior to this, he spent more than 16 years at IBM in various channel-related roles.

In August last year, he was responsible for the hyper-converged infrastructure vendor’s new partner program launch, dubbed Power to the Partner, which placed a strong focus on partner investment rather than achieving revenue targets.

Some of the new program features include full service demand-generation platforms and tools to help with new customers and partner resources.
