Akamai appoints channel manager out of BlueJeans

Cloud delivery and performance vendor Akamai Technologies has appointed Adam Noall as its Australia and New Zealand channel manager.

Noall will be in charge of maximising opportunities across all market segments as the channel is an integral part of Akamai’s growth strategy.

“I chose to join Akamai based on their market leader status across security, media delivery and web performance elements of the Akamai Edge and their world class business culture and high performance teams being one of the best places to work that have been recognised globally," Noall said.

Akamai declined to confirm who Noall was replacing.

In his new role at Akamai, he will also look after the media and enterprise focused channel partners as well as the vendor's partnership with Telstra.

Noal joined from BlueJeans Network where he was most recently the APAC channel director and had previously been the global channel director, Telstra for the video conferencing vendor.

He has an extensive of working with the channel. He has been a channel manager for Avaya between 2014 and 2015, he was the ANZ head of sales and channels for collaboration company Quality Connex then moving on to BlueJeans.

He has also worked for Telstra as an account director and at Vita Group as the unified communications practice lead.
