Aerohive rolls out revamped partner portal

Leverages Salesforce Partner Communities to build new platform

Aerohive Networks has launched a new partner portal to help streamline business transactions and improve efficiency through the channel.

The networking vendor used Salesforce Partner Communities to build the new platform, which focuses on automated on-boarding; amplified marketing; accelerated sales and analysed performance.

“We are constantly looking for new ways to expand on our commitment to channel partners,” said Alan Amrod, senior vice president of products and sales, Aerohive Networks. “The new Partner Portal is a representation of that.

“We are fostering greater success through well-organised and up-to-date tools that help users better manage opportunities, become more competitive, and drive product demand. We are giving them the support they need to create the best business possible for our customers."

The automated on-boarding feature will provide partners with the tools necessary to easily on-board, train and deploy new Aerohive solutions for customers.

In addition, the solution will also make it easier for partners to market offerings through automation, in a move designed to drive demand and build pipeline. Real-time visibility will also be provided through analytics to track the return on investment as partners grow their businesses.

The vendor plans on hosting several training sessions to familiarise partners with the new portal, maximising the platform’s benefits for them.

“We are excited about the rollout of Aerohive’s new partner portal,” said Chris McDaniel, vice president of sales for vTECH IO, a partner of Aerohive. “Their investment in an upgraded platform proves a long-term commitment to our success, and clearly demonstrates to us that Aerohive is making it easier for partners to access customer solutions, tools and resources needed to deliver a mutually beneficial business."

Aerohive has customers and partners across Asia Pacific (APAC), with plans to deepen channel capabilities revealed in early 2019 through the signing of a distribution agreement with Westcon.

The distribution agreement spans nine markets, including Singapore; Indonesia; Malaysia; Thailand and Philippines, in addition to Vietnam; China; Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The deal includes the distribution of the vendor's entire product portfolio, covering cloud-based networking, access points, switches and routers, by Westcon.
