  • Must-have apps for music festivals

Grab your sunscreen, high-rise cutoff shorts, and favorite satchel: Coachella kicked off this week, which marks the unofficial ushering in of music festival season. Hundreds of thousands of people flock to music fests all around the country, and for some, summer just wouldn't be the same without attending one of these mega events. LAS VEGAS--Stepping off a plane to discover that your luggage has gone missing is a major annoyance for travelers, and an all too common one. Even worse is the feeling of not knowing how long it will take the airline to locate it and return it safely to you.

  • Report: Apple's iPhone 4 was most purchased smartphone in 2011

The three top-selling smartphones in the US last year all belonged to Apple, according to data released by ComScore. The iPhone 4 held the number one spot, with the 3GS following in second and the 4S in third, despite an October release. (The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8530 and HTC EVO 4G came in line at fourth and fifth, respectively.)

  • How to keep your kids safe on Facebook

Boasting 500 million users worldwide and still growing, Facebook is now ubiquitous. Because of its popularity, minors have jumped onto the social media bandwagon, too, and they use networking the same way adults do -- to share pictures, connect with friends, organize events, and play social games. And that can be a problem.
