  • Touchbase first to local Cisco double

    Touchbase is the first local integrator to hold both Advanced Unified Communication Certification (AUC) and Unified Contact Centre Enterprise Certification (UCCE) from Cisco. Business leader, Andrew Fisher, said the process had taken about two years to work through. In October, Touchbase made a seven-figure investment to skill up in Cisco unified communication products.

  • Techhead offers resellers a branch into telcommunications

    IT&T outfit, Techhead Interactive, has set up a Web portal for resellers that want to take on Telstra's Next G network products. Known as Techhead Mobile Connect, it offers mobile handsets, plans, wireless data cards, mobile broadband products and GPRS data as well as voice and mobility packs. It will also offer training, pre-sales and technical support.

  • Efficient Data takes wireless to the races

    Network integrator, Efficient Data Communications (EDC), has won a tender to install a Cisco wireless network for the Australian Jockey Club (AJC) at Randwick Racecourse. The deal is estimated to be worth about $1.2 million.

  • Ericsson opts for ASG

    ASG Group has scored a three-year, multi-million dollar deal to supply managed services for telecommunications outfit, Ericsson. The WA-based integrator will supply service desk, server and desktop services.

  • Agreon gains CA enterprise status

    System integrator, Agreon, has attained CA Enterprise Solution Partner (ESP) status. The tag recognises high-end technical and consulting skills. Agreon managing director, Brian Brannigan, said the certification validated the services it had been providing CA customers for the past five years.

  • Brightpoint gets into Unwired ranks

    Brightpoint has added Unwired broadband modems, PC cards and starter kits to its portfolio. Managing director, Felix Wong, said the partnership strengthened its offering in the wireless broadband market.

  • APEC contract is a feather in ASG cap

    ASG Group has won a deal to provide system integration and management services for the Asia-Pacific Economic Corporation (APEC) 2007 Taskforce. Financial details have not been disclosed.

  • Brennan ups Qld presence

    IT services outfit, Brennan IT, has recruited Steve Greenwood as state manager in an attempt to boost its Queensland presence. He previously spent 11 years building corporate and government business in the Sunshine State for Optus.
