IN PICTURES: IT charity lunch for Queensland flood support

Highlights from the pre-lunch drinks at the massive fiundraiser attended by more than 800 people

  • They came from everywhere. More than 800 of the IT industry's finest plus some of rugby union's greats, all with one aim - to raise funds for Queensland's flood victims. The event, held at the Grand Ballroom, Star City Casino, Sydney, sold out all 86 tables in five days. The organisers included IT industry veteran John Walters, Cisco's Tony Wright, and David Henderson. Australian rugby union legends Rocky Elsom, Peter Fitzsimons, Mark Ella, Bob Dwyer and Nick Farr-Jones also attended. After pre-show drinks (featured in this slideshow) everybody got down to the serious business of raising funds through a trivia quiz, raffle and auction.
