Distribution Central co-hosted a breakfast at Emerson Network Power’s North Ryde headquarters to introduce the SmartCabinet to partners. The pre-engineered integrated rack solution was designed for deployment at edge of IT remote locations such as SMBs, branch offices and stores. Emerson Network Power managing director, A/NZ, Robert Linsdell described the SmartCabinet as a “Datacentre in a box” as it meets all the requirements of a traditional Datacentre, but was built with small computer rooms and limited floor space in mind. At the breakfast, Emerson Network Power channel director A/NZ, Mo Kandeel, said the overwhelming response from partners was how quiet the unit was.
