  Some of the sponsors of ARN's inaugural EDGE 2015 event got together at the ARN office for a debrief of the event. Over some drinks and cheese, these attendees got an update on some key statistics that arose from the EDGE event and discussed potential topics and improvements that can be made at next year's event.

  Golfers got into the swing on the final afternoon of EDGE 2015 when they competed for the prestigious (well, it is now) EDGE Cup. Two golf courses were reserved for the event- the newly refurbished Port Douglas Resort and the Palmer Sea Reef Golf Course. Sponsors and co-hosts formed teams of 4 for a shotgun start over both courses. It has to be said though, it is the first time we've seen a crocodile on-course - now that's what we call a natural hazard. ARN Editor, Allan Swann, took his camera gear and a buggy and recorded the action.

  IN PICTURES: EDGE 2015 - wrap-up BBQ dinner (+39 photos)

  To mark the end of EDGE 2015, ARN hosted a BBQ dinner for the channel partners at Port Douglas. Besides the scrumptious array of food and drinks, partners also got creative with their gift bandanas. It was an event of all smiles and plenty of mingling. Here are some snaps from the night.

  About 20 channel partners joined ARN on a trip to the Great Barrier Reef, letting their hair down and enjoying the nature of Port Douglas. The activity was part of EDGE 2015. Check out some of the pictures from the half day activity.

  Day two of business at EDGE 2015 saw three breakout sessions. with vendors Acronis, NEXTDC and IBM taking the stage. Acronis held a roundtable around the theme of Lead from the front: It’s time to have the Who? What? Why? enterprise mobility conversation. NEXTDC held a Steve Martin-led presentation, The leadership role of the channel in moving customers to the Cloud – and understanding realities, while IBM's panel discussion considered Analytics – The channel’s new sweet spot.
