    Around 80 partners, current and prospective, gathered at the Ivy penthouse to hear presentations, network and enjoy some fine wines. The night featured presentations from Acronis general manager A/NZ, Lincoln Goldsmith, Channel Dynamics director and co-founder, Moheb Moses, Acronis International president Jan-Jaap Jager and the firm’s vice president for global channel sales, Chris Hilderbrand.

    To celebrate a great 2014 partnership and kick off 2015, Ingram Micro invited Intel Security staff to come along to its office, network and indulge in some delicious lunch through ‘The NightHawk Diner’ food truck experience. Attendees also tried their hand at a Spin and Win competition with the lucky winner, Manish Thakur, taking home a new Apple iPad.

    ARN's latest roundtable, 'Distributors make their mark in the Cloud', hosted industry experts from all levels of the channel at Sydney's O Bar and Dining. With 360-degree views of the cityscape, attendees discussed the impact of Cloud computing on distribution, the roles of distributors in the Cloud, and the changing face of channel relations.     McAfee gives top APAC partner award to Dimension Data

    Dimension Data has come away from McAfee’s 2013 Channel Partners Awards as both the security vendor’s Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) ‘Overall Partner of the Year’. McAfee, part of Intel Security, hosted the gala event as part of its partner conference in Bali, Indonesia, from May 28 to 30. The winners of the 25 categories were selected based on performance, results, and partnerships which demonstrated growth. Other A/NZ winners included Manage Protect (SMB Partner of the Year), Loop Technology (Commercial Partner of the year), Content Security (Growth Partner of the Year), and Ingram Micro (Distributor of the Year).

    WhiteGold recently headed to Miami and a cruise around the Bahamas to Nassau, Coco Cay and Key West, courtesy of Fortinet. The cruise was part of Fortinet's global partner conference. In Nassau, WhiteGold's Dominic Whitehand and Jonathan Odria, along with Ingram Micro's Andrew Khan and Distribution Central's Nick Verykios, went on a deep water dolphin swim.

    As we grow closer to the 2012 ARN IT Industry Awards and our 21st birthday celebration, we thought it was time to look at some of the events and moments in history that have taken place during that time. For the next few weeks we'll be looking at some of the events from 2008 and 2009. In this slideshow we revisit Ingram Micro's 2009 expotech in Sydney. About 1000 resellers descended on Sydney's Convention Centre to check out the latest products at Ingram Micro's expotech tradeshow. The event was supported by the distributor's key vendor partners and included prize giveaways, a technology accessories fashion show, and presentations from the likes of CA, Citrix and Symantec.
