The 2014 Awards carried a Scottish lilt with its brave hearts theme and some of the ICT industry's braver - or prouder - gentlemen decided that this was the time to wear/air a kilt and ceremonial garb. Editorial director, MIKE GEE, made it his business to capture as many of the kilts on display as he could - from the waist down, and then the waist up. Much to his surprise there were a lot of bashful men out there! Och aye! Many a knee was covered. He also found he attracted a few strange glances when squatting close to the ground to shoot a lower torso. However, the idea bore dirk! Here are the men in kilts - and many thanks to them and those Mike didn't capture for making the effort to get in the mood.

The latest ARN Roundtable was held at Sydney's est. and drew a group of ICT industry executives to discuss the role of the Channel in guiding customers in their adoption of Cloud technologies in 2013 and beyond. Attendees considered the challenges surrounding the differing cloud models, some of the unique applications of Cloud in the marketplace, discussions concerning the quality (and cost) of Australia's telecommunications infrastructure, data sovereignty (and security) and whether Cloud is being over-hyped, and perhaps over sold, in this still immature market. ARN's Community Manager, Hafizah Osman, has disappeared under a flood of community picture stories and reports of company events, so we thought what better to do than put them all in a slideshow summing up the week in the channel. This week features company awards and overseas partner conferences amongst other events. Are you pictured in the last channel round-up for the year?
