    Staples recently hosted its CEO Connect "Preparing your business for the Millennials" breakfast event, where 73 CEOs from the NSW chapter of the CEO Institute leant about how their companies should be prepared for a new generation in their workforce. Staples vice-president of sales, Tim Sleep, together with Lenovo Asia-Pacific CMO, Nick Reynolds; Microsoft’s Brett Fraser; and Generation E’s Biagio LaRosa delivered a compelling message to these leaders around preparing their business for millennials. Discussion themes included Cloud, activity based working and social media, which were comprehensively covered by the speakers.

Representatives from Federal Group, University of TAS, MyState, TAS Sports and Local GOV were present and highly engaged in topics such as new technologies, securing IT networks, and IT asset management​.     Nutanix's global sales vice-president, Sudheesh Nair, ended his trip to Australia with a networking evening with the vendor's business partners. In attendance were vendors with complementary product, distributor WhiteGold Solutions, and a range of specialist resellers. The event was hosted at the Argyle in The Rocks, Sydney.

    IN PICTURES: CEOs sleep out in Sydney

    CEOs from around Australia gathered to help raise funds to fight homelessness at the 2013 Vinnies CEO Sleepout. In raising donations for the St Vincent de Paul Society, CEOs braced the cold with nothing more than a cardboard plank for shelter and a sleeping bag. Dinner was a bowl of soup. ARN caught up with several of the IT leaders who braved the wintery conditions for the Sydney sleepout, at Carriageworks. Are you pictured?
