Pioneer broadens product stable with new surveillance deal

Local PC manufacturer, Pioneer Computers, has signed up with Level One to distribute its range of IP surveillance products.

Managing director, Jeff Li, said the pair already boasted a relationship in Taiwan.

Extending the deal into the Australian market would bring further value-added technologies to its books, he said.

The Level One product portfolio includes broadband routers with ADSL or cable modems, print servers, wireless products, VoIP, network adapters and IP cameras.

Pioneer plans to bundle the products with its own range of PC hardware.

"We are not just selling notebooks, PCs and servers, now we are selling the whole solution," he said. "In the future we plan to include more IP surveillance technologies."

The company would target resellers and system integrators in the SME and corporate market space, he said.

Pioneer will provide training seminars and revenue incentives for resellers and integrators stocking the IP surveillance products.

The company will also sell the product bundles online through its recently launched Build-to-Order system. The website allows both resellers and end-users to select a range of products and components to include in their PC, notebook or server build.

The Level One product range is also distributed locally by Tecksel, Digital Data Communications, Network Broadband Solutions and Premier IT Distribution.
