Connexus offers hybrid broadband

Targets growth in SMB sector

Victoria-based ISP, Connexus, has introduced a hybrid broadband product allowing users to customise router configurations and at both ends – their core network and the customer premises.

It's backed up an international Internet backbone capacity of one gigabit, which allows for exceptional speeds even during peak downloads, according to the company.

Chief Operating Officer (COO), Ben Dunscombe, said the company was a leader in marketing a hybrid product that incorporated the standard ADSL2+ offering bundled with symmetric services offering distinctive throughput proportions specifically designed to cater to multi-site offices and corporations with content delivery needs.

Importantly, it incorporates built-in redundancy.

“Let’s not beat around the bush, first to market with any product definitely gives a company the strategic advantage,” Dunscombe said.

Connexus intends to acquire a bigger share of the SMB market by promoting its product with a new advertising launch containing the catch phrase, “We won’t go down on you.”
