HP expands application transformation portfolio

Claims technology is “innovation engine” of the enterprise

Technology and services giant, HP, has updated its application transformation portfolio.

It has rolled out seven new offerings to aid local companies and governments measure, modernise and administer applications that drive their enterprises. HP said the new application transformation provides solutions and helps businesses accelerate innovation by delivering application flexibility and speed.

These solutions were created from the results of research, research conducted on behalf of HP, around the importance of innovation to business success.

The research showed four key findings:

    1. 95 per cent of executives within the private and public sectors believe innovation is an important tool for company success 2. The primary objectives for innovation were “changing customer or citizen demand” and “producing higher quality products and services” 3. About two-thirds of the executives specified technology as driving innovation in the enterprise 4. Applications transformation is growing in importance to tackle evolving and demanding business needs

HP Enterprise applications director of application services, Asia-Pacific and Japan, Anita Paul, said with businesses struggling with inflexible application situations, many government and business organisations were embarking on application transformation projects to help drive innovation, capitalise on new opportunities and gain competitive and service advantages.”

HP is offering the following solutions: Application Portfolio Management (APM), Application Transformation Services for Client Computing, Fortify Real-Time Hybrid Analysis, Cloud Service Automation 2.0 (CSA), Exchange Services for Private Cloud, Enterprise Cloud Services for Microsoft Dynamics CRM and HP Financial Services.

All solutions are available locally, with the exception of the Cloud Service Automation 2.0, which will be available from May 3.
