Dymocks offers new Acer Iconia Android tablets

Company also introduces new Dymocks eBook app for the Google Android OS

Local bookseller, Dymocks, will sell Acer's latest Iconia Android tablet range, supported by a new Dymocks eBook app for Android.

The recently launched Acer Iconia range operates on a dual-core ARM A9 CPU and the latest Google operating system, Android 3.0 (Honeycomb).

The device supports the Dymocks eBook app, enabling customers to purchase and download digital copies of books and read them on the tablet.

The eBooks - including local and international bestsellers - are available in both PDF and EPUB formats.

Company CEO, Don Grover, said the new digital and tablet offering marked the next stage in meeting customer demand for its books and services across all channels of distribution.

“With over 200,000 eBooks on the Dymocks website, our customers will be able to utilise the latest technology from Acer and Google to enjoy books in new and exciting ways,” Grover added.

The Acer computer tablet range will be available in selected local Dymocks stores and online and the official Dymocks eBook app can be downloaded from its website.
