Huawei Enterprise increases channel focus in A/NZ

ICT solutions vendor, Huawei Enterprise, is increasing its channel focus in the A/NZ region, with the hire of Mark Rook as channel development manager.

Huawei Enterprise is one of Huawei's three business groups that provides a wide-range of ICT solutions and services to enterprise customers of all sizes.

Rook’s main responsibility will be to oversee all of Huawei Enterprise’s existing channel activities and build on its channel relationships.

Prior to joining Huawei, Rook served as Express Online’s Huawei Enterprise Australia business unit manager for almost two years. Express Online has been a distributor of Huawei’s solutions since late 2011, following its acquisition of Simms International.

Rook is also the director of Sydney based marketing and sales agency, Lyncean Consulting, a position he has held for more than four years.

During his 30-year experience within the ICT sector, he has held positions within businesses such as Macquarie Telecom, PowerTel, Vividas, Splicecom Australia, and Request Business Solutions.
