Cortell wins IBM software partner of the year

Australian award follows 2013 international prize

Cortell Australia has been named the 2013 IBM software Australian partner of the year.

The Business analytics and performance management solutions provider received the award in recognition of its success in pushing IBM software across the eight brands in the software group portfolio.

The award follows the IBM worldwide business intelligence and advanced analytics partner of the year 2013 that Cortell recently received.

Cortell Australia director, Nick Potts, said the award was a fantastic achievement for the company and that it validated the firm’s customer centric strategy.

This is the first time an analytics provider has received the award that is usually reserved for larger partners in IBM’s network.

The company said its success is due to the relationships it has forged within its customers, the dedication of staff and the belief of IBM in the firm.

The award covered a broad range of criteria according to Cortell. This included hard and soft metrics. The finalists were put before a panel of senior IBM management who came to a unanimous decision.

One of the firm’s other directors, Matthew Hill, said “We are experiencing tremendous growth in our core TM1 and business analytics (BI) business, which has been supported by strong adoption of the SPSS solutions.” “

This further enhances our offering of a complete EPM solution and is very much aligned with our passion for delivering high value business analytics solutions leveraging the IBM Business Analytics EPM platform.”
