Tech Project partners with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise to leverage enterprise cloud platform

Queensland-based managed service provider will also roll out the solution internally.

Queensland-based managed service provider, Tech Project, is now offering Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's cloud consumption based communications products and services to businesses across Australia.

In addition to signing it on as a channel partner, the company will also be rolling out the Alcatel-Enterprise solution within the organisation to its internal staff.

Tech Project chief executive, Jarrod Case, said as the market moves into consumption-based models, more partners are looking to ensure their technology investments add business value.

“The entire Tech Project group are moving our communications to the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise platform," he said.

"As a company, one of our key principles is that we believe in practicing what we preach.

“We believe in the solutions we choose to sell, and as a company are committed to consuming and benefitting from those solutions. We are big believers in the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise cloud platform.

“The progressive business model and open platform of the OTEC solution allows us to deliver personalised communications solutions in the cloud.

“Financially, customers can reduce their upfront costs and distribute investments over many years, while the IT department no longer has the same burden of managing the network infrastructure and maintenance.”

According to Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise channel sales director, Chris Downes, the momentum of cloud-based consumptive business models is strong.

“We’re looking forward to working closely with Tech Project in continuing to address an evolving business communications market," he added.

“It’s a company with a strong pedigree in providing strategic advice to clients and they are extremely well placed to be an evangelist for the movement towards cloud and consumption based purchasing here in Australia."
