Get awarded as Services Delivery Partner of the Year (APAC) and New Partner of the Year (APAC) respectively

Sydney headquartered reseller, WhiteSky Labs, and consulting, technology, and outsourcing services firm, Capgemini Australia, have come home as winners from MuleSoft’s Connect 2017 partner conference in San Francisco.

As part of the conference, the company hosted a global partner awards ceremony, where WhiteSky Labs was named Services Delivery Partner of the Year for the Asia Pacific region and Capgemini Australia was awarded with the Asia-Pacific New Partner of the Year gong.

Accenture won the Top Partner of the Year for Asia-Pacific, while Deloitte was named global partner of the year.

The annual awards recognise the top partners for excellence in executing on customer needs, driving business results, and delivering solutions and expertise in a repeatable, scalable way.

MuleSoft senior vice-president of global channels and alliances, Brent Hayward, said the winners, including WhiteSky Labs and Capgemini Australia, were honoured for developing solutions or industry specific offerings with Anypoint Platform, scaling their team through training and certification programs, and showcasing customer excellence and driving business outcomes for customers.

“Partners play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission to enable organisations to change and innovate faster by making it easy to connect the world’s applications, data and devices. These partner award winners have gone above and beyond in this,” Hayward mentioned.

WhiteSky Labs, an Australian-based MuleSoft integration partner, was awarded for the recent deployments it did for MuleSoft.

The company was previously a general IT service business which remodeled its business from being in general IT services business to becoming a niche MuleSoft Anypoint platform provider.

Since changing its focus in December 2014, WhiteSky Labs has secured contracts on a global scale and multiple new Australian customers, for whom the company is implementing integration strategies and solutions utilising the MuleSoft platform.

WhiteSky Labs sales director, Steve Wilson, told ARN that the company recently deployed MuleSoft in the retail sector, has a long-term support engagement with an Australian University and ongoing project work, large deployment and services engagement with a large US education company.

In addition, it has also recently provided support services into a large Australian airline, architecture and delivery services to large non for profit organisation in Australia, and largescale deployment including architecture, design, build and performance tuning for one of the largest FinTech companies in Asia, amongst other global deployments.

“We are actively working with the MuleSoft team on many new opportunities. WhiteSky Labs’ primary objective is to help our customers understand and be successful in the API-led economy.

“This award celebrates the success of our many customers who have transformed their businesses using MuleSoft and our processes and IP that not only deliver rapid time to value, but are also pragmatic, cost effective and greatly reduce delivery risk. We are specialists not generalists,” Wilson said.

According to Wilson, the company prides itself on being a MuleSoft expert and offering a “cost effective partnership” that leverages the benefits of both onshore and offshore delivery models.

“Together with MuleSoft, we are committed to grow our team of MuleSoft experts, strengthen our relationship with existing customers and win new customers as we help them deliver mobile customer experiences, turn data into digital assets and accelerate their pace of innovation and change.”

He also said that the close alignment has allowed the company to “deeply understand and appreciate” the internal MuleSoft processes, many of which it has adopted.

“Every WhiteSky Labs consultant is MuleSoft certified and many have advanced certifications. We continue to invest in our culture, tools, processes and methods and our close relationship with MuleSoft ensures we are in touch in rea-time,” he added.

WhiteSky Labs has also just taken on a lease on a new premise for the next six years in Manila to manage a rapidly growing team and has launched a Capacity Planning service and 24/7 managed service offering.

As for Capgemini Australia, it took home the Asia-Pacific New Partner of the Year award.

In December last year, Capgemini Australia scored a five-year engagement with online bank, Members Equity (ME), with the global consultancy firm tasked with building out the company's digital services capabilities.

It also came up tops at Informatica’s 2015 INFORM Partner Awards, which was announced at the end of last year.
