Tassie partner strikes deal to resell Canada's Inuvika technology

Tasmania-based IT services firm, Virtual Information Technology, has forged a partnership with Canadian virtualised application delivery company, Inuvika.

Virtual Information Technology, which counts Citrix, Red Hat, Amazon Web Services and Nimble Storage among its roster of vendor partners, specialises in IT strategy, architecture, solutions development and implementation, and infrastructure services.

The vendor's solution, Inuvika OVD, aims to deliver virtualised Windows and Linux applications to any device, without the cost and complexity of traditional virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions. According to the company, it is a virtualised application delivery platform that can be managed through a single web admin console.

The new deal sees Inuvika OVD Enterprise made available through Virtual Information Technology’s head office in Hobart, Tasmania.

Inuvika CEO, Kevin Gallagher, said he looks forward to working with Virtual Information Technology, with the company's 40 years of experience delivering IT services and solutions playing a part in the vendor's decision to partner with the Tasmanian partner.
