Sydney-based data and analytics advisory services provider, See-Change Solutions has struck new partnerships with Canadian-based IBM partner NewIntelligence and US-based AppFusions.

The two new partnerships will see both NewIntelligence and AppFusions tap into the Australian and New Zealand marketplace, with See-Change president Patrick Spedding taking charge of setting up a regional presence for AppFusions, while introducing its digital experience platform, AlohaDXP, into the market.

AlohaDXP runs on a distributed ledger with all data stored and indexed in an enterprise blockchain. It also features a business intelligence layer for data that runs on IBM Watson and is compliant with data and privacy laws such as GDPR.

“It’s a bit of a pivot for us, we’ve been focusing on strategic advisory services around digital transformation, BI, analytics and AI, and as I was talking to partners, I realised there was some great ideas and solutions being built, but they haven’t had the capacity to scale globally,” Spedding said.

“It’s an interesting approach for us to take, but I can see value in both solutions and how customers will benefit. A big focus for us this year, is getting into the more strategic use of data, along with the implications of AI.”

Specifically, the partnership with NewIntelligence enables See-Change to integrate NI QuickStart for Reporting and Dashboarding for SAP Business One with IBM Cognos, including software and services to all of its Australian and New Zealand customers. Spedding himself previously spent 18 years working for IBM Cognos, prior to setting up See-Change Solutions in 2012.

NewIntelligence president Corey Mendelsohn said the new partnership will enable it to expand its solution to future SAP Business One clientele, broadening its reach into new markets such as A/NZ.

“In collaboration with See-Change Solutions, we feel comfortable knowing that we have chosen the right partner to grow our presence within Australia and New Zealand,” Mendelsohn said.

NI QuickStart for Reporting and Dashboarding for SAP Business One uses a reporting database that is separate from the current SAP Business One platform, making way for customisation of business rules and calculations, adapting to business requirements.

This solution is pre-built and be configured with customisation, within a two to three week time frame.

“The joint collaboration will allow See-Change to leverage our collective know-how and seamlessly integrate NI QuickStart for Reporting and Dashboarding for SAP Business One with IBM Cognos,” Spedding said. “We are looking forward to working with the NewIntelligence team and collaborating with them on delivering this solution to our current and future clientele in Australia and New Zealand. We see a lot of value moving forward.”
