Arrow exclusively introduces Tenable Network Security to A/NZ channel
Arrow Electronics introduced Tenable Network Security to local resellers in Sydney last week, officially launching the distributor's latest security partnership across Australia and New Zealand. Representing the first direct distribution agreement locally for Tenable specifically, the deal sees Arrow deliver security solutions directly to mid-market and enterprise channel partners on both sides of the Tasman.

IN PICTURES: FireEye celebrates channel at 2016 Partner Conference
FireEye welcomed 143 channel partners and distributors to FireEye's 2016 annual Partner Conference, FireEye A/NZ Momentum - held at Establishment in Sydney. Delegates heard from senior trans-Tasman channel leaders, marketing and the product divisions in the morning, with FireEye customers, incident responders and threat intelligence analysts sharing knowledge during the afternoon.

The Distribution Central history goes back to when it was founded in 1992 as Firewall Systems, an IT security services provider. The company was acquired by Scott Frew and Nick Verykios in 2004, with Frew founding LAN Systems - now Westcon-Comstor - and both founding 1World Systems and Micro Networks. This slideshow pays tribute to DC over the years, its co-founders, and the people that have graced both it and Frew and Verykios' associated companies. So here's some some DC party meltdowns plus plenty of history.

IN PICTURES: Rotary Club Charity Regatta Part 2 (+28 photos)
In its twenty first year, the Rotary Club Charity Regatta was once again held at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia in Rushcutters Bay. Sponsored by Check Point, the event featured 48 yachts and was attended by partners and customers of the security vendor amongst others. The prospect of rain was not enough to dissuade attendees as they readied for an afternoon on Sydney Harbour in support of a good cause. Photos by Chris Player.
