Businesses looking to set up e-commerce Web sites will have more choices with new software from Hitachi Computer Products America.
The company has unwrapped TradeLink, a suite of electronic commerce applications designed to help users set up everything from electronic catalogues for business-to-business trading to online retail malls.
TradeLink includes a Payment Gateway for processing credit cards and a certificate server to issue digital certificates.
Based on the Object Management Group (OMG) standard called Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) 2.0, TradeLink also supports back-end integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP R/3 and Baan.
