Management software vendor, Altiris, has recruited Express Data staffer, Craig Morrison, to the newly created role of ANZ channel development manager.
Morrison was previously ED's northern region RSA security business manager for 18 months. He said he left because he saw an opportunity to work for an organisation that is strengthening its channel focus.
"Altiris recognised they needed to bring someone on board to ensure they are delivering on the demands of channel partners as it grows," he said.
Morrison's initial aim was to bring more partners on board, particularly for its asset management solutions portfolio.
"We are definitely focused on expanding our security channel in A/NZ," he said. "The market around security management solutions has grown exceptionally and I will look to fulfill market demand through increasing partner numbers."
He will also work closely with existing dealers such as Commander, Corporate Express, ComputerCorp and Bizcarta.
