CA has added Lynx Technologies to its mix of local distributors, with an eye on capturing more of the business continuity and recovery management portion of the software market. The storage specialist joins Ingram Micro and Express Data on CA's books.
"Ingram and Express Data reach a very broad base by carrying our commercial products," CA channel sales director, George Hladilo, said. "We see Lynx as part of a complementary strategy where it will work primarily with our XOsoft products."
XOsoft is a range of software covering disaster recovery and business continuity.
"Lynx has the technical knowledge, deep integration capabilities and support required to put together complete solutions around XOsoft," he said. "It will bring a deeper penetration to some customers, while broadening our reach to others."
Hladilo said Lynx would bundle XOsoft with hardware from HP to cover multiple recovery scenarios.
"Lynx will put together solutions that will cover specifi c disaster recovery situations," he said.
