Value-added distributor, Uptime Distribution, has undergone a rebranding to 24/7 Distribution.
Managing director, Tony Geagea, said the new name coincided with the company's next phase of growth. As 'up' time was a given, the new name better demonstrated the company's commitment to service, he said.
"Customers have said 24/7 support is the thing that really differentiates us," he said.
Part of the rebranding process also involves revamping the company website. Geagea said that while the new website was initially a cosmetic change, the distributor plans to build more services to partners via self-service models onto the site.
24/7 is gearing up for a big 2008 with plans to open up in new territories around the world, expand its vendor partnerships, and launch an aggressive marketing plan.
In addition to product/bundling promotions and roadshows, 24/7 will also hold an annual conference in coming months, Geagea said.
24/7's vendor line-up includes Expand Networks, GN Jabra, Mitel Networks and Trapeze Networks. The distributor also signed an official distribution agreement with HP ProCurve last month.
