BCA IT has been selected as a new channel partner for e-security outfit RSA Security.
RSA has added the Melbourne-based reseller, which specialises in providing integrated IT services and solutions to corporate and medium-sized enterprises, to its partner program to address what it sees as a growing demand for security solutions in the Australian corporate market.
"We are delighted to have attracted BCA IT as a new local channel partner to expand our reach in the Australian marketplace. We believe that BCA IT adds tremendous value to RSA Security through its national team and established blue-chip client base," said Chris Wood, channel development manager, RSA Security Australia.
The focus of the partnership will be on exploiting opportunities for RSA's SecurID two-factor authentication and its Keon digital certificate management solutions. BCA IT, which was the sole supplier of IT for the Sydney Olympic media centre, will also offer RSA introductory software packs to address the needs of SMEs and corporations looking for an entry-level solution.
"As companies become more mobile and wireless, they are opening networks up to travelling users and business partners. Security is increasingly about making sure people are only able to see what they should be seeing as well as protecting networks from hackers," said Joe Arcuri, BCA IT's national sales manager.
As a select partner, BCA IT will have access to RSA Security sales leads, training, bid and proposal tools, as well as Web-based resources via the partner extranet. The agreement is effective immediately.
