Distributor, TrackItOnline, has formed a new partnership with triCerat that will become an important cornerstone to its business.
US-based vendor, triCerat, specialises in enhancing enterprise management of desktops and applications with printing and profile solutions.
The vendor is heavily involved with Citrix.
TrackItOnline director, Phil Lancaster, claimed it was the relationship with Citrix that brought the new partnership about.
“triCerat approached us some months ago, as we do a lot with Citrix partners, we saw it as a good fit for both companies,” he said.
“Overall, it’s the most positive response we’ve seen from our partners. There are alternatives in the market, but they’re extensive and complicated. triCerat has not quite as many features, although enough for most organisations, and is much simpler to administer.”
triCerat is expected to be one of the most significant vendors in the TrackItOnline stable, Lancaster added. The partnership is not exclusive, but he hoped the vendor would be pleased with the partnership development.
Initially, TrackItOnline and fellow distributor, TechPlus, would operate without a home presence from the vendor. Although triCerat has a regional manager, he is based in the US working to local time zones. However, the vendor is in the process of appointing a presales engineer, and Lancaster said in the long-term he expected them to establish a local office.
