Enterprise software distributor, TrackITOnline, has partnered with print management solutions vendor, Plus Technologies.
TrackITOnline approached the US-based company after learning it was a partner of TriCerat, one of the distributor’s existing vendor. The deal was finalised in September.
Plus Technologies already has an existing relationship with another distributor, but TrackITOnline director, Phil Lancaster, said that was not an issue.
“The other distributor is not focused on the same area as us, which is virtualisation and associated enterprise areas,” he said.
This new partnership fits into TrackITOnline’s line-up perfectly, according to Lancaster.
“In the many years I have been out selling printing solutions, I’ve often been asked for integrated solutions for better print job management and auditing, particularly in the Citrix environment,” he said. “It is one of those cost areas people are now paying a lot more attention to.”
The vendor’s flagship product line is the OM Plus Suite which works with Windows and Unix platforms.
Plus Technologies general manager, Mike Visser, said the vendor chose TrackITOnline as a new partner based on the experience of the distributor’s team.
Lancaster is an industry veteran and was the general manager of the now defunct virtualisation distributor, Infotronics.
